The Clinic will be open as per our normal hours until the Wednesday before Christmas before closing for the Christmas - New Year Period.

Closing: 7.00pm on Thursday 23 December 2021; and
Re-opening: 9.00am on Tuesday 4 January 2022.

Veterinarians Declared an Essential Service During COVID-19 Crisis

The Hon. David Littleproud MP, Minister for Agriculture has this evening released a statement which is very reassuring news for our patients and our clients:

"The Federal Government considers the role of veterinarians essential to the agricultural sector and therefore to our nation's food security but also in protecting companion animals and our nation’s wildlife.

"The Federal Government has not put any restrictions on veterinarians other than the practice of social distancing and hygiene practices during the COVID-19 crisis."

Can My Pet Catch COVID-19?

  • There is no evidence that any animals including pets might be a source of infection with this new virus.
  • There have been no reports of pets or other animals becoming sick with COVID-19.
  • There is also no evidence that companion animals including pets can spread COVID-19.

We Are Open During COVID-19 Crisis

  • To maximise social distancing we ask that ONLY ONE owner attend an appointment or enter the clinic at a time;
  • If you are concerned about entering the clinic and DO NOT wish to come inside please phone us on 9312-2500 We can meet you at your car, sell you food or medication or collect your pet and conduct a phone consult;
  • Please DO NOT ENTER our clinic:
    • if you have returned from overseas/or have been in contact with someone who has returned from overseas in the past two weeks;
    • if you have been in contact with someone who has tested positive or you yourself have tested positive to Coronavirus;
    • if you have a fever, cough or signs of respiratory illness.
