The most effective way to check your senior pets health is through regular blood tests.

A one-year-old medium-sized dog is roughly equivalent to a 15-year-old human, and a two-year-old dog is comparable to a 24-year-old human. After that, each year of a dog’s life is roughly equivalent to five human years. This means that an eight-year-old medium-sized dog would be about 51 years old in human terms, and just one year later, they would be equivalent to a 56-year-old human.
